Reclaimed Heart Pine

Over four hundred years ago, the Southern Yellow Longleaf Pine grew in abundance in the Early American colonies and was prized for its strength, stability, and beauty. The dense center of this species, “Heart Pine,” quickly became the colonists’ flooring of choice. Original floorings milled from Heart Pine have lasted for hundreds of years and continue to grace old plantation homes from Savannah to Richmond.
